THE PHOBIA ONE NEEDS TO BE HEARD MORE BECAUSE MY DAD’S GIRLFRIEND IS AFRAID OF FEATHERS AND HER DAUGHTER WILL LITERALLY THROW FEATHERS AT HER AND LAUGH AND THAT IS NOT COOL AT ALL
As it sometimes happens, I have each of these disorders and my social anxiety is so bad that unless I’m with someone I trust I can’t speak to srrangers. I physically just stop being able to speak, although recently I’ve begun being able to order my own food at a restaurant. I also have panic disorder and OCD badly and it upsets when people think it’s just being particular. I have to do everything in sets of 3, 6, 8, 12, 21, 28 or 32. I can’t just grab any fork from the draw it has to be the 3rd one. I can’t go to sleep without checking and re checking my locks 3 times. I go out in public and if I walk around something the “wrong” way I have to re do it. And it’s awful to do these things in public. I hear people get scared over something like a bug and they’ll say, “omg I just had a panic attack.” No. When you’re laughing with your friends and out of nowhere you’re choked and frozen in fear and you start freaking out more because people will see you have a panic attack and they’re not pretty. I often wind up in a vegatative state for an hour. I wake up every morning with an anxiety attack and I’m sure to have an attack a day. I’ve seen people put spiders in peoples faces who fear spiders, I’ve had the lights shut off on me in a bathroom because I have a phobia of toilets (harhar) and prople can’t understand why. And too many people suffer anxiety wothout support and love. Please spread awareness. Anxiety is not easy to cope with when your mind is telling you that you cannot cope.
I mean yeah, I have tons of unread books on my shelf, but do you think that’ll stop me from buying more?
